Fuel oil prices may come down within two months: Nasrul Hamid

State Minister for Power, Energy and Mineral Resources Nasrul Hamid said that the price of fuel oil may come down within two months.

He made this comment at a seminar on Bangabandhu's energy philosophy and Bangladesh's energy security and volatile world market organized by Forum for Energy Reporters Bangladesh (FERB) at Bidyut Bhaban on Sunday.

Nasrul Hamid said, “Special measures have been taken in special circumstances. The government does not want to put common people at risk. Global fuel prices have fallen. The government is thinking of coordinating it. Adjustments will be made within the next two months. If everyone cooperates patiently, it will be possible to deal with the situation.”

He also said, "We will completely come out of load shedding by the end of next month."
