High Court orders removal of provocative Facebook posts, YouTube videos

The High Court has directed the concerned authorities to remove inflammatory Facebook posts and YouTube videos containing fake and fabricated news causing violence and chaos in the country.

The Bangladesh Telecommunication Regulatory Commission and Facebook and YouTube authorities have been asked to comply with the order and submit a report to the High Court within two weeks.

Justice Md. Khasruzzaman and Justice Md. Iqbal Kabir High Court bench gave the order hearing a writ petition related to this on Tuesday.
