Per capita income now $1,316

Planning Minister AHM Mustafa Kamal on Tuesday confirmed that the per capita income of Bangladesh has risen from $1,314, to $1,316.
The figure was emerged from an analysis of data of the 2014-15 financial year of the country.
The Planning Minister unveiled the information while addressing journalists at a press conference, held at National Economic Council (NEC) conference room, in the capital on the day.
Bangladesh's GDP grew at 6.55 percent in the last fiscal year, the minister also reinstated.
The Minister also said, 'In 2013-14 fiscal year, the per capita income was $1, 190. The per capita income rose in the current fiscal year as a result of increased GDP growth size.'
