Cold Stone Creamery opens flagship store in Dhaka

Cold Stone Creamery along with parent company Kahala Brands™ and Master Franchisee, Olive Tree Foods Limited (OTFL), has announced the opening of their first flagship store location in the Gulshan-1 neighborhood of Dhaka, Bangladesh, reports the PRNW.

 

The grand opening celebrations kicked off with a private event held on last month that included a ribbon cutting ceremony with special guests: Mr. David Meale, the US Embassy Bangladesh's Deputy Chief of Mission; Mr. Eddy Jimenez, Senior Vice President of International Operations & Development of Kahala Brands™/Cold Stone Creamery; Mr. Ehsanul Habib, Chairman of Olive Tree Foods Limited; and Mr. Sheikh Aftab Ahmed, Managing Director of Olive Tree Foods Limited.

 

"We believe this is the beginning of a very successful relationship between Olive Tree Foods Limited and Kahala Brands and soon we will expand throughout the country with our brand's presence," said Mr. Sheikh Aftab Ahmed, managing director at OTFL. The celebrations continued with dance performances by Cold Stone Creamery Crew Members, a catwalk ice cream fashion show, and musical performances. The ice cream fashion show debuted models walking the runway presenting Cold Stone Creamery's Signature Creations™, which are made with popular flavors and mix-ins.
