Oitihya publishes 'Rabindra Rachanaboli' in 30 parts

Creative publication house Oitihya is going to publish the write-ups of great poet Rabindranath Tagore in 30 parts, reports the BSS.

 

The new publication of Oitihya has been edited by Syed Akram Hossain, said a press release today.

 

The publication ceremony of 'Rabindra Rachanaboli' held at Shahbagh National Museum main auditorium in the city recently.

 

To be presided over by Professor Emeritus Dr. Anisuzzaman, the function was attended by Kolkata Rabindra Bharati University Vice-Chancellor Sabyasachi Bose Roy Chowdhury, former Vice-Chancellor Prof. Pabitra Sarkar, Dhaka University English Professor Syed Manzurul Islam, Tagore song singer Prof. Rezwana Chowdhury Banya and National Museum Board of Trustees President Azizur Rahman Aziz.

 

The 22,500-page 'Rabindra Rachanaboli' is the biggest publication in Bangladesh.

 

Oitihya has fixed the price of the whole publication at Tk 40,000. But the buyers can collect the books at discounted price of Tk 19,500 only for a limited time.

 

Grameen Phone star subscribers will get additional 10 per cent discount while the Dhaka Bank debit or credit card users will get three to six month interest-free installment facilities for payment.
