Chinese national held for stealing cash from ATM booth

Rapid Action Battalion (RAB) today detained a Chinese national while stealing money from an ATM (automated teller machine) booth of Prime Bank's Elephant Road branch here this morning, reports the BSS.

 

Commanding Officer (CO) of RAB-2 Lieutenant Colonel Mohiuddin confirmed the news.

 

He said, "Being informed, members of the RAB-2 rushed to spot and caught red-handed the swindler with Tk 66,000 at about 11 am."

 

Details will be informed after quizzing the arrested, he added.
