Tk. 7,78,739.85 cr audit objects remain unsettled

Finance Minister Abul Maal Abdul Muhith today said the number of audit objections with various public offices now stood at 8,76,013 involving

Taka 7,78,739.85 crore, reports the BSS.

 

The finance minister said this in the Jatiya Sangsad while replying to a question from treasury bench member Muhibur Rahman Manik of Sunamganj.

 

The minister informed the House that the number of audit objections with the finance division is 6,344 involving Taka 19,956.24 crore, 68,194 audit objections with bank and financial institutions involving Taka 1,45,996.16 crore, 3,195 with women and children affairs ministry involving Taka 843.3206 crore, 2,777 with liberation war affairs ministry involving Taka 1,966.12 crore, 33,176 with food ministry involving Taka 8,742.42 crore, 10,061 with disaster management division involving Taka 2,802.8961 crore.
