Bourses start week with mix trend

Dhaka Stock Exchange (DSE) witness loss in the benchmark indices while Chittagong Stock Exchange (CSE) witnessed gain on Sunday, the first day of trade week.

The key index of Dhaka Stock Exchange, DSEX, shed over 5.81 points and 0.10 percent to stand at 5695.45 at the end of the day’s trading.

The DSE Shariah Index (DSES) shed over 3.26 points or 0.24 percent to stand at 1307.81 points.

However, the DS30 index, gain over 6.68 points or 0.32 percent to stand at 2066.31 points.

Trade deals stood at 166,356 with transaction at Tk 11037.57 million. Of the issues traded, 133 advanced, 164 declined and 33 remained unchanged.

The LankaBangla Finance Ltd. topped the turnover list with shares worth Tk 371.47 million having changed hands.

Chittagong stocks is not followed the suit, s CSCX, the prime index, climbing up to 10729.54 by growing over 0.13points.

Out of the issues traded, 92 gained, 131 declined and 30 remained unchanged. The total value of exchange was over Tk 720.07 million.
