Novoair's Rajshahi-Cox's Bazar direct flight begins

Direct flights between Rajshahi and Cox's Bazar have been introduced by Novoair.

The first direct flight from Shah Makhdum Airport was inaugurated on Thursday by Rajshahi City Corporation Mayor AHM Khairuzzaman (Liton).

Among those present at the occasion were Masudur Rahman, President of the Rajshahi Chamber of Commerce and Industry, and Mofizur Rahman, Managing Director of Novoair.

Every Thursday at 10:30 am, the flights will leave from Rajshahi and land in Cox's Bazar at 12:00 noon.

Additionally, aircraft will leave Cox's Bazar on Sundays at 3:35 p.m., landing in Rajshahi at 5:05 p.m.

One-way fares begin at Tk 5,900.

Novoair is also offering a free three-night, four-day hotel stay to travellers visiting Cox's Bazar.

Passengers must book round-trip tickets from Rajshahi to Cox's Bazar and back to Rajshahi in order to take advantage of this deal.

The hotels that are a part of the deal are Hotel The Cox Today, Hotel Seagull, Hotel Sea Palace, Hotel Long Beach, Hotel Neeshorgo, Hotel Windy Terrace.

Currently, Novoair offers daily flights from Dhaka to Kolkata, Chattogram, Cox's Bazar, Saidpur, Jashore, Sylhet, and Rajshahi.
