Stocks decrease for a sixth day

Today's significant decrease in Bangladeshi stocks extended their losing streak to six straight trading days.

A loss of 32 points, or 0.51 percent, brought the DSEX, the benchmark index of the Dhaka Stock Exchange (DSE), to 6,194 at 12:30 pm.

An essential market indicator, turnover, was Tk 225 crore.

Only five of the securities saw price increases, 76 saw price declines, and 168 did not.

The Chittagong Stock Exchange's Caspi, which measures the price of all shares, dropped 0.72 points, or 0.39 percent, to 18,311.

Only two of the issues advanced, 48 declined, and 62 stayed unaltered.
