Export revenue increases by 5.89% in January

Bangladesh's export revenue increased 5.89% year over year to $5.13 billion in January of current year from January of last year.

According to data that the Export Promotion Bureau (EPB) issued on Thursday, exporters received $4.85 billion in January 2022.

Thanks to greater shipments of ready-made clothing, the overall growth of export receipts in the first seven months of the fiscal year 2022–23 decreased to 9.81 percent year over year in January.

According to EPB data, Bangladesh earned $32.44 billion between July and January of the current fiscal year, up from $29.54 billion during the same period last year.
