Adani's power to be added to national grid in March: Nasrul

State Minister for Power, Energy and Mineral Resources Nasrul Hamid said that the electricity being purchased from India's Adani Group will be added to the national power grid in March of this year.

He said this to reporters at the secretariat on Sunday.

Nasrul said, “Adani's electricity will be added to the grid in March. There will be no problem with the price. The price will not be higher than the pigeon. Bangladesh will get electricity from the second unit in April.”

Bangladesh is going to buy 1,600 MW of electricity from India's Adani Group.
