Stocks break their losing streak

Today's increase in the Dhaka Stock Exchange (DSE) indices ended a five-day losing run.

Around 11:45 a.m., the DSEX, the benchmark index of the largest stock exchange in Bangladesh, increased 10 points, or 0.16 percent, to 6,192.

The total revenue was Tk99 crore.

A total of 51 of the securities saw gains, 91 saw losses, and 121 had no change.

The Chittagong Stock Exchange's all-share price index, or Caspi, increased by 19 points, or 0.1%, to 18,295.

A total of 23 of the issues witnessed price increases, 14 price decreases, and 19 price statics.
