US-Bangla secures 5th place among South Asian airlines

US-Bangla Airlines, one of the country's private airlines, has earned the fifth place among South Asian airlines in the 2023 Skytrax World Airline Awards.

US-Bangla stated its optimism in a news release on Thursday that Bangladesh aviation will advance as a result of this significant achievement in the field of international aviation.

The Skytrax World Airline Awards are referred to as the "Oscars of the aviation industry".

The Skytrax World Airline Star Rating, a prestigious and international benchmark for airline excellence, is determined through an expert audit study and evaluation of airline products and front-line service standards.

The Audit Office assigns star ratings to airlines after an in-depth analysis of their quality standards by industry professionals. The worldwide recognition of airline quality and service has been done by Skytrax since 1999.

Two Dash 8-Q400 aircraft were used to operate US-Bangla Airlines' first flights in the Bangladeshi aviation sector on the Dhaka-Jashore route, and the company went on to accomplish a number of success milestones.

Since the country's independence, only US-Bangla Airlines has offered nonstop service to any location in China or Chennai, India.
