Foreign exchange reserves in Bangladesh have slipped below $30 billion as the Bangladesh Bank (BB) cleared the import payments to the Asian Clearing Union (ACU).
Riding on increased flow of remittances, forex reserves stood at $31.16 billion on Wednesday, according to the BB.
Bangladesh clears import bills every two months under the ACU, and the country's foreign exchange reserves typically decrease following the payment.
