Per capita debt in Bangladesh Tk 95,019

The country's total debt, including domestic and foreign obligations, is estimated to be over Tk 16.14 lakh crore, according to the most current report from Bangladesh Bank.

As a result, each individual owes Tk 95,019 in debt. However, income still outpaces per capita debt, it said. 

The current per capita income for the nation is $2,793, or around Tk 3.3 lakh in Bangladeshi currency.
