Rifat Garments gets Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujib Export Trophy

Rifat Garments Limited, a company of Ha-Meem Group, was crowned with the Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujib Export Trophy for earning the most foreign exchange in the country's exports in the fiscal year 2020-21.

The company also received the Bangabandhu Export Trophy for its best export performance in the category readymade garment in the fiscal year of 2018-19.

The list of organizations selected for the National Export Trophy for the financial year of 2020-21 has been published in a government gazette on Tuesday.

According to the gazette issued by the Ministry of Commerce, more than 70 companies are getting National Export Trophy this year.

The names of the organizations selected for various product and sector-wise national export trophies have been mentioned in the gazette.

The trophy will be officially handed over to the representatives of the selected organizations within a few days.

The Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujib Export Trophy is the highest award given by the government. Apart from this, national export trophies are given in these three categories - gold, silver and bronze - in various export sectors including ready-made garments, yarn, cloth, medicine, jute.
