Dollar price falls in kerb market

The price of each US dollar dropped to Tk 126 in the open market, commonly known as the kerb market, on Sunday (November 12).

According to money changers, the price drop came after an increase in supply and a consequent decrease in demand.

The price for each dollar was Tk 127 on Thursday, a record high.

Money Changers' Association of Bangladesh President AKM Ismail Haque said each US dollar was sold for as low as Tk 123 on Sunday evening.

According to sources, US dollar price could fall further.
