Inflation drops to 9.49% in November

According to the Bangladesh Bureau of Statistics (BBS), the country's inflation rate dropped to 9.49 percent in November as a result of a fall in both food and non-food costs.

The Consumer Price Index (CPI), which measures the typical rise in consumer prices over time for a range of goods and services, increased by 9.93 percent in October.

While non-food inflation dropped from 8.30 percent to 8.16 percent last month, food inflation dipped from 12.56 percent in October to 10.76 percent.
