Ashraf Ahmed elected DCCI president

Ashraf Ahmed, CEO of Riverstone Capital Limited, has been elected as the President of DCCI for the term of 2024, with Malik Talha Ismail Bari as the Senior Vice President and Md Junaed Ibna Ali as the Vice President. 

The new Board of Directors includes Md Salem Sulaiman, Md Siaam Al-Ddin Malik, Mohammad Saifur Rahman Saif, Nayeemur Rahman, and Saif Uddowlah. 

The new Board of Directors took over charge at the 62nd Annual General Meeting (AGM) of DCCI on Tuesday.

Ashraf Ahmed, a graduate of IBA, University of Dhaka, has a successful career in the financial services industry.

Ashraf Ahmed is the head of Riverstone Capital Limited, an international award-winning merchant bank. 

He has worked in the banking industry with multinational banks like ANZ Grindlays, Standard Chartered, and HSBC. 

Ashraf specializes in large and complex project finance, capital and debt market solutions, and mergers and acquisitions. 

With almost thirty years of experience in business, banking, finance, and economics, he has firsthand experience in operating businesses in Bangladesh. 

Ashraf is the youngest son of late Nuruddin Ahmed, a former President of FBCCI, DCCI, and Dhaka Club Limited.
