Ferdous Alam new BSTI DG

SM Ferdous Alam has joined the Bangladesh Standards and Testing Institute (BSTI) as a new Director General (DG) (Grade-1).

Earlier, he served as the chairman of the Bangladesh Inland Water Transport Corporation (BIWTC).

Bangladesh Agricultural University awarded SM Ferdous Alam a degree in agriculture in 1988. After receiving his MSc in horticulture, he joined the BCS thirteenth batch administration (cadre) in 1989. He later assumed important field administration responsibilities in a range of sectors.
