Price of meat, eggs to remain normal in Ramadan: Minister

Fisheries and Livestock Minister Md Abdur Rahman said talks will be held with businessmen to make sure commodity prices remain normal during the holy month of Ramadan.

Measures will be taken to ensure the prices remain the same. The ministry will also take measures to sell chicken, eggs, meat and milk in a similar way as the TCB.

He made the remarks at the inauguration ceremony of a workshop held at the Dhaka Reporters Unity (DRU) auditorium on Thursday morning.

Addressing the businessmen, the minister said, "I urge you all to do something for the people. Gain less profit."
