Padma Bank merges with EXIM Bank

Padma Bank will merge with EXIM Bank. 

The decision was taken in the board meeting of Exim Bank on Thursday. 

Upon approval of the central bank, the merger will take effect on the agreement of the two parties, said sources at Exim Bank.

Padma Bank will be the first bank merger in Bangladesh.
