Gold price breaks all-time history

Bangladeshi jewelers have decided to further raise their prices for precious metal, which means that gold price is expected to smash all prior records from Sunday. 

Therefore, the price of a bhori (11.66 grams) of 22-carat gold will be Tk 115,823, an increase of 1.5% over the previous amount.

Since March 22 of this year, the price per bhori of gold has been Tk 114,074. 

The Bangladesh Jewellers Association announced in a news statement on Saturday that they have decided to increase the rate due to the recent increase in the price of pure gold on the local market. 

On July 20 of last year, gold prices in Bangladesh surpassed Tk 1 lakh per bhori for the first time.
