Price of gold drops again

The price of gold has gone down again in the country. The price of per bhori 22-carat gold was reduced by Tk 1,155 to Tk 1,11,461.

According to a press release issued by the Bangladesh Jewellers' Association (BAJUS) on Monday, the new price comes into effect at 4 pm the same day. 

The decision to reduce the price was taken at a meeting of the BAJUS Standing Committee on Pricing and Price Monitoring as the price of pure gold has dropped in the local market.
