BAJUS reduces price of gold by Tk 420

The Bangladesh Jewellers' Association (BAJUS) on Tuesday slashed the price of 22-carat gold by Tk 420 to Tk1,11,041 per bhori. The previous price was Tk 1,11,461. 

The decision to reduce the price was taken at a meeting of the BAJUS Standing Committee on Pricing and Price Monitoring as the price of pure gold has dropped in the local market. 

The price will be effective from 4pm on Tuesday, according to a BAJUS media release.
