Govt fixes rawhide price for sacrificial animals

The government has fixed the price of rawhide for sacrificial animals for the upcoming Eid-ul-Azha, raising the price slightly from the previous year.

The per square foot cowhide price for Dhaka has been fixed at Tk 55-60 while Tk 50-55 for the rest of the country. Besides, the price of each piece of salted cowhide in Dhaka has been fixed at Tk 1,200 and Tk 1,000 for the rest of the country. 

The prices were fixed at a meeting at the Secretariat in Dhaka on Monday.
