Import-export through Sonamasjid land port to remain closed for 8-day

Import-export activities through Sonamasjid Land Port would remain closed for eight days on the occasion of Eid-Ul-Azha.

The import and export activities through the port would remain closed from June 15 to June 20 and it would resume on June 22, said President of Sonamasjid Importer-Exporter Group Kazi Md. Shahabuddin.

Two Fridays - June 14 and June 21 would be included into the closure.

However, the Immigration Department would remain open and the travelers carrying passports would be able to travel as usual.
