Former CAG Muslim Chowdhury made Sonali Bank chairman

Mohammad Muslim Chowdhury, former comptroller and auditor general (CAG), has been appointed as the chairman of Sonali Bank PLC.

Financial Institutions Division has issued a circular to this end on Wednesday.

Chowdhury was  a former finance secretary.

The government has appointed him to the position with a three-year tenure from the date of his joining.
