BB appoints two new deputy governors

Two executive directors of Bangladesh Bank - Md Zakir Hossain Chowdhury and Md Kabir Ahmed - have been appointed as deputy governors of the central bank.

On Sunday, a notification was issued in this regard by the finance ministry's Financial Institutions Division.

The notification mentioned that the Bangladesh Bank appointed has appointed its two executive directors as deputy governors on a contractual basis for a period of three years from the date of joining.
