FBCCI gets new administrator

The interim government has appointed Md Hafizur Rahman, a member of the Bangladesh Competition Commission and former Additional Secretary, as the administrator of the Federation of Bangladesh Chambers of Commerce and Industry (FBCCI).

On Wednesday, the Ministry of Commerce issued a circular in this regard under Section 17 of the Trade Organizations Act, 2022.

According to the circular, the administrator would hand over the

responsibilities to the newly elected body of the country's apex trade organisation through holding a free and fair election within 120 days and thus appraising the development to the Ministry.
