Muhammad Syed Ali made e-CAB administrator

Muhammad Syed Ali, deputy secretary of the Central Digital Cell of the Ministry of Commerce, has been appointed as the administrator of the e-Commerce Association of Bangladesh (e-CAB).

The Ministry of Commerce has issued a circular in this regard on Wednesday.

The circular signed by its Additional Secretary Dr Naznin Kawser Chowdhury was made under the section 17 of the Trade Organizations Act, 2022.

The circular said that the new administrator would hand over the responsibilities to the newly elected body of the country's apex trade organization.

The administrator will hold a free and fair election within 120 days and thus apprise the development to the Ministry.
