Shakib Al Hasan fined Tk 50 lakh

The Bangladesh Securities And Exchange Commission (BSEC) has fined former member of parliament and former captain of the Bangladesh Cricket team Shakib Al Hasan Tk 50,00,000 for alleged manipulation in share transactions. 

A notification signed by BSEC Director Farhana Faruqui confirmed the matter on Tuesday. 

According to the notification, Shakib Al Hasan was fined for manipulating share transactions of Paramount Insurence Company Limited.
