Diesel, kerosene prices reduced by Tk 0.50

The government has reduced the retail prices of diesel and kerosene by Tk 0.50 to Tk 105 per litre from Tk 105.50 for November.

From November 1, Diesel and kerosene will be sold at Tk 105 per litre in the retail points which was Tk 105.50 earlier, according to a gazette of power and energy division issued Thursday.

The prices of octane and petrol will remain unchanged. Accordingly, petrol and octane will be sold at Tk 125 and Tk 121 per litre, respectively.  

This price adjustment was done under an automated formula in alignment with the fuel prices in the global market to ensure an economic price for retail consumers.
