44.7% think interim govt struggling to control price hike

A large number of Bangladeshis think the interim government is struggling more than the previous government in trying to control price hikes, according to a Voice of America survey released Sunday (1 December) 

In the survey, 44.7 per cent of participants think the interim government is not doing too well in controlling the prices of essential commodities like rice, fish, vegetables, eggs, meat and oil. 

Meanwhile, 23.8 per cent of people think the interim government is doing better than the previous government. 30.8 per cent of people think the situation is as it was before. 

The survey was carried out among 1,000 Bangladeshis.
