National Bank's services to remain suspended temporarily

National Bank Limited has temporarily suspended all banking services to facilitate a seamless migration to a new core banking software system.

Bangladesh Bank issued a circular to this end on Thursday.

In a bid to facilitate a seamless migration to the Core Banking System (CBS), all banking services of the National Bank Limited will be suspended from December 31, 2024 to January 4, 2025. 

 Bangladesh Bank gave the go-ahead under the authority granted by Section 45 of the Bank Companies Act, 1991, ensuring the bank can focus on completing the migration effectively.
