Algerian entrepreneurs keen to invest in Bangladesh: envoy

Algerian Ambassador in Dhaka Adelouahab Saidani said the entrepreneurs of his country are keen to invest in Bangladesh.

The envoy made the remarks when he called on Commerce Adviser Sk Bashir Uddin at his secretariat office in the city, said a press release.

Ambassador Saidani said there is a market for all Bangladeshi products, including garment products, in Algeria. 

He added that Bangladesh should utilise the existing opportunities. Algerian businessmen are interested in investing in Bangladesh at this time.

Commerce Adviser Sk Bashir Uddin said the relations between the people of the two countries will strengthen further through the investment.

Bangladesh needs to increase the scope of economic cooperation, he added.
