There is no Aladdin's lamp to fix market: Adviser

Commerce Adviser Sk Bashir Uddin has said there is no Aladdin's lamp that will fix the market price of rice overnight. 

"The recent price hike of rice has caused sufferings for people, that cannot be denied. However, this problem is temporary. There is no Aladdin's lamp to fix the market overnight. However, the government has taken several measures to keep the market stable," the adviser said. 

He made the remarks while talking to journalists after he met with Turkish Trade Minister Omer Bolat at the Secretariat on Thursday.
