BB alerts about using its logo

Bangladesh Bank (BB) has cautioned all in case of using its logo elsewhere for avoiding any kind of counterfeit.

In a circular issued on Sunday, the central bank said, “It has been noticed that the social media or online is illegally using the Bangladesh Bank's monogram or logo to advertise recruitment and online income opportunities of various institutions.” 

It also said due to the illegal use of Bangladesh Bank's logo, common people are likely to be misleading due to these fraudulent advertisements and recruitment circulars.

In this regard, BB informed that the central bank has no association with such employment circulars or online earnings opportunities.

Besides, all are requested to visit the bank's own website (www.bb.org.bd) to get accurate information on any matter related to Bangladesh Bank.
