Banks, financial institutions to resume regular hours from Sunday

Banks, insurance companies, non-bank financial institutions (NBFIs), and stock markets will restart regular functions on Sunday after a weeklong Eid-ul-Fitr holidays.

Banking hours will begin from 10:00am to 3:30pm from Sunday to Thursday as per pre-Ramadan schedule, according to Bangladesh Bank.

There will be a 10-minute post-closing session after trading on the Dhaka Stock Exchange (DSE) and Chittagong Stock Exchange (CSE) from 10 am to 2:30 pm.

Meanwhile, office hours for insurance companies and NBFIs will be functioning from 10:00am to 6:00pm on working days.
