Adviser Sheikh Bashir Uddin made Chairman of Biman Board of Directors

 Adviser to the Ministry of Civil Aviation and Tourism Sheikh Bashir Uddin has been appointed as the Chairman of the Board of Directors of Biman Bangladesh Airlines Limited.

In this regard, a gazette notification was issued on Tuesday by the Aviation-1 Branch of the Ministry of Civil Aviation and Tourism.

According to the notification, under Section 30(c) of the Bangladesh Biman Order 1972 (Reorganization and Expansion) Act-2020 and by the authority vested upon the government under the Companies Act 1994, Sheikh Bashir Uddin has been made Chairman of the Board of Directors of Biman Bangladesh Airlines Limited in line with its Articles of Association.
