Grameenphone serves legal notice to President

Grameenphone (GP), a parent company of Telenor, has recently sent a legal notice to the Bangladesh president demanding arbitration to settle the disputed audit claim of Tk 12,580 crore by Bangladesh Telecom Regulatory Commission (BTRC).

Posts and Telecommunications Minister Mustafa Jabbar made the disclosure while talking to reporters at his office on Thursday.

“GP, through a law firm in Singapore, has sent a legal notice to our President to go to arbitration. I think that's very sad,” said Jabbar.
