Uday Hakim gets Walton's 'Night of the Year' award

Uday Hakim, executive director of Walton, Bangladeshi multinational brand, has achieved the 'Night of the Year' award. 

He was awarded the prize for his special contribution to marketing and branding of the Walton, said a press release.

The directors of Walton handed over the crest to Uday Hakim at the corporate office in the capital on Tuesday.

Hakim was born in Bardhanpara village in Mirzapur upazila of Tangail on March 25, 1975. 

On completion of graduation with Honors and Masters from the Department of Mass Communication and Journalism at Dhaka University, he worked for 12 years as journalist at Daily Prothom Alo, Daily Amar Desh, Daily Kaler Kantha, Channel I and CSB Television.

Hakim joined Walton, the electronics giant company of the country in 2010. He was promoted to executive director of the Creative and Publication Department of Walton in January last year.
