Scope to exist to whiten black money in next budget too: Finance Minister

Finance Minister AHM Mustafa Kamal has said that there is an opportunity to whiten black money in the budget of the next financial year as well.

He said as long as there is undisclosed money in the economy, the government will continue this scope.

He was responding to a question from reporters after a meeting of the Cabinet Committee on Economic Affairs and Public Procurement on Wednesday afternoon.

In the meeting held online, he said that in some cases, money is often undisclosed due to systemic reasons. If these funds are not given a chance to show and if they are not brought into the mainstream of the economy, then the economy will not work properly.
