Digital sacrificial animal haat launched, 241 haats go online

Digital Sacrifice Animal Haats have been launched across the country to facilitate the collection of sacrificial animals amid Corona pandemic. 

Fisheries and Livestock Minister Sham Rezaul Karim officially inaugurated the market online at noon on Tuesday. 

State Minister for ICT Junaid Ahmed Palak said 241 huts have been added to the www.digitalhaat.net platform at the initial stage through 1,843 online shops in the country.

State Minister for Information and Communication Technology Junaid Ahmed Palak presided over the virtual inaugural function jointly organized by the Ministry of Fisheries and Livestock, Department of Information and Communication Technology and E-Commerce Association (E-CAB) and with the technical assistance of A2I. 

Fisheries and Livestock Minister Sham Rezaul Karim was the chief guest while NM Ziaul Alam, Senior Secretary, Department of Information and Communication Technology, Raunak Mahmud, Secretary, Fisheries and Livestock, Dr. Md. Abdul Mannan, A2I's joint project director Dr Dewan Mohammad Humayun Kabir, E-Cab President Shami Kaiser, E-Cab General Secretary Mohammad Abdul Wahed Tamal and A2I's Head of E-Commerce Rezwanul Haque spoke on the occasion.
