Kamal hopeful of 7.2pc GDP growth in current fiscal

Finance Minister AHM Mustafa Kamal on Saturday expressed  optimism of achieving targeted 7.2 percent GDP growth in the current fiscal year (FY22).

The minister said this after a meeting of the Cabinet Committee on Government Purchase (CCGP), reports BSS.

He said “In the current financial year, the size of the economy will be US$455 billion. Per capita income will reach US$2,785 this year.”

The minister also hoped that the per capita income will reach $3,089 in the next fiscal year.
