Dhaka-Kolkata Novoair flights from March 27

Private airliner Novoair will begin Dhaka-Kolkata flights from March 27.

According to a press statement from Novoair, the private airline will operate daily flights on this route.

The daily flights will leave Dhaka at 5:20 p.m. local time and Kolkata at 6:40 p.m. local time.

The Indian Directorate General of Civil Aviation has given approval for commercial flights to begin on March 27.

Commercial flights to and from Kolkata were previously banned on March 25, 2020 by DGCA of India regulations to prevent Covid-19 infection.

However, special flights between Bangladesh and India were on operation under the Air Bubble Agreement instead of commercial flights.
