Indian airline hit by ransomware attack

SpiceJet, an Indian airline, said its systems were hit by a "attempted ransomware attack" on Tuesday, delaying flights and stranding passengers.

According to a BBC story, several planes were delayed on Wednesday, with customers complained about a lack of service.

Many people shared photos and videos of themselves waiting for hours after boarding and receiving no reaction from the airline.

BBC says, SpiceJet later issued a statement claiming that the matter had been resolved.
