Cow rawhide price fixed at Tk47-52/sq ft in Dhaka

In preparation for Eid-ul-Adha, the authorities increased the price of rawhide from sacrificed animals by Tk7 per square foot.

This year, the cost of salted cow rawhide has been set at Tk47–52 per square foot in Dhaka and Tk40–44 per square foot outside of Dhaka.

On Tuesday, Tipu Munshi, the minister of commerce, announced the rates and urged the businessman to confirm the prices.

Additionally, the price of male goat skin is Tk12–14 per square foot nationwide while the price of goat hide has been set at Tk18–20 per square foot.

Salted cow rawhide was priced last year at Tk40–45 per square foot in the capital city of Dhaka and Tk33–37 outside of it.

Additionally, the price of male goat skin was Tk12–14 per square foot nationwide whereas it was Tk15–17 for goat hide.
