Dollar soars to record Tk119 in open market

The open market price of the US dollar reached Tk119 on Wednesday, which is a record high for Bangladesh.
The open market has been selling US dollars at Tk118-119 since the morning. Due to the scarcity of hard currency, most exchangers are more interested in purchasing than selling.
On Monday last, the open market rate for the US dollar was Tk115.
